About Learn & Flourish Tutoring

Expert Tutoring Services with Jessica

Based on the edge of the beautiful Vale of Belvoir, I’m ideally located to provide in-person tuition across Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, and Nottinghamshire.

I have experience supporting pupils of all ages — from KS2 children, including those as young as Year 4, to secondary school students preparing for their GCSEs. I also offer specialist tutoring for families whose children are working towards the 11+ entrance exams for Lincolnshire Grammar Schools.

My particular passion is mathematics, and I draw on my in-depth subject knowledge and qualifications to help pupils gain both understanding and confidence.

I truly believe that every child has the potential to succeed. The key is helping them believe it too. By nurturing self-confidence and a positive attitude to learning, children can flourish and enjoy their educational journey.

Every learner is unique, and their needs change as they grow. Whether it’s developing core literacy and numeracy skills in KS2, strengthening understanding of GCSE Maths, or building effective exam techniques, I’ll work closely with you and your child to provide tailored, high-quality support. I also value the opportunity to collaborate with schools, ensuring a consistent and enriching learning experience.

Children learn best when they feel confident, supported, and inspired. At Learn & Flourish Tutoring, my goal is to open your child’s eyes to the joy of learning — helping them grow in confidence, knowledge, and curiosity, so they can truly flourish.

Owner of Learn & Flourish

As a parent of three, I understand firsthand how important it is for children to feel confident and supported in their learning. Navigating the school system has given me valuable insight into how to help each child learn in the way that suits them best.

I’ve been tutoring for over 10 years, beginning my journey with another tutoring company before establishing my own practice in 2020. I’m a Durham University graduate with Maths A-Level and am a qualified Chartered Accountant. My career has been varied, spanning roles in the public sector and a charity, but a consistent thread throughout has been my passion for learning and helping others achieve their potential.

I stay up to date with the latest research and best practice in child pedagogy, ensuring that my approach is always tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style.
