Learn and Flourish Tutoring Primary Secondary

KS2 Maths & English

Building Confidence in Learning

For primary-aged children, my focus is on building confidence and strengthening the key skills they’re developing at school. I aim to nurture their enjoyment of learning while reinforcing the core foundations that will support them throughout their education.

With your support as parents, I work to identify any gaps in understanding and help children build their knowledge step by step — giving them the confidence to learn, grow, and thrive.

KS3 Maths

Laying Solid Foundations

At this stage, I focus on helping KS3 pupils strengthen their numeracy skills and build confidence in maths. These years are vital for laying the groundwork before GCSEs, ensuring children have a solid understanding of key concepts. Together, we’ll reinforce those foundations while developing self-belief and a positive attitude towards learning. After all, maths is as much about confidence as it is about knowledge!

Reaching Their Potential

Helping young people reach their full potential in GCSE Maths takes more than just subject knowledge. With my experience and qualifications, I’m able to share a deep understanding of mathematics while drawing on my familiarity with the main exam boards and syllabuses to target key techniques and skills. Most importantly, tutoring offers the time and space to understand each student as an individual—helping them build confidence and aspire to achieve more than they thought possible. As your child approaches their exams, my goal is to ensure they have both the knowledge and self-belief to perform at their very best.

11+ Examinations

Guided Support to Success

I offer friendly, supportive tuition for children preparing for the 11+ entrance exams to Lincolnshire Grammar Schools. Each session is designed to help pupils develop their skills in both Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning — important tools that not only prepare them for the exam but also support their wider learning as they move into secondary school.

With encouragement and targeted practice, children gain confidence, become familiar with the types of questions they’ll face, and feel ready to do their very best when the Year 6 exams come around each September.
